Estimates for planning
MixRatio is an estimating and reference tool for planning material purchases. Its volumes are computed from standard geometric formulas, and its bag counts from typical published premix yields. Mix ratios and strengths are typical industry and standard reference values (including ASTM C270 mortar types and common nominal concrete classes), provided in good faith and rounded for practical use.
Quantities will vary
Real quantities differ from any calculation. Over-excavated trenches, uneven or soft sub-grade, formwork deflection, spillage, waste and the exact yield printed on your bag all change what you actually need. Always add a waste allowance and confirm against your own measurements and your supplier's figures before ordering.
No warranty for structural work
MixRatio does not provide engineering advice and its output is not a structural design. Concrete mix design, reinforcement, footing sizing, cover, cure and striking times for load-bearing, structural or regulated work must follow your local building code and the specification of a qualified engineer. MixRatio is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, and we accept no liability for losses arising from its use.

Refunds
Not happy with a purchase? Email [email protected] within 14 days of a first purchase, or within 7 days of a renewal, and we will refund it. Send the message from the email address you used at checkout, and include:
- the email address used at checkout (if you are writing from a different address)
- your access code, shown on the Premium page while you are signed in on the browser you purchased from
- roughly when you purchased, and which plan (weekly, yearly or lifetime)
